Deze serie biedt gebruikers de keuze tussen een compacte of modulaire switch, en stelt hen in staat de poortdichtheid, het backbone-type, de snelheid, de temperatuurwaarden, de beschermende coating en diverse industriestandaarden te specificeren. Zowel de compacte als de modulaire platforms bieden redundante voedingsingangen en een foutrelais (geactiveerd door stroomuitval en/of poortverbindingsverlies). Alleen de managed-versie biedt media-/ringredundantie, multicastfiltering/IGMP-snooping, VLAN, poortspiegeling, netwerkdiagnostiek en poortbeheer.

 

Het compacte platform biedt ruimte aan maximaal 24 poorten binnen een bereik van 4,5 inch op een DIN-rail. Alle poorten kunnen werken met een maximale snelheid van 100 Mbps.
